The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Baked Goods are subject to this recall:

  • Apple Cinnamon Hand Pies, sold in clear, plastic clamshell containers with Whole Foods Market scale labels, a PLU number of 23646100000 and best-by dates of October 15, 2017 and earlier.

According to the FDA, certain Whole Foods Market stores in Arizona, California and Nevada have recalled Apple Cinnamon Hand Pies due to Egg, an ingredient not listed on the product label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
