The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Alcoholic Beer products are subject to recall:

  • The Pilot Series Berry White IPA Beer, sold in 330 ml glass bottles with a best-before date of 14 March 2018.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, West by Three Brewing Co. has recalled certain batch/lots of The Pilot Series Berry White IPA Beer because its label does not mention that the known allergen Lactose is a product derived from Milk. This means the Beer is a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Milk or Milk Constituents.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Alcoholic Beer products and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food or beverage poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food or beverage.
