The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Jelly Cups are subject to this recall:

  • New Choice Assorted Mini Fruit Jelly Cups, sold in packages of 300 grams

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, Jelly Cups containing Konjac are permanently banned in Australia. There is a potential choking hazard if the recalled Jelly Cups are swallowed whole as they may lodge in the throat and restrict and/or block air supply to/from the lungs.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled New Choice Assorted Jelly Cups, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
