Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Smoked Turkey are subject to this recall:

  • 25- to 29-ounce plastic-lined, boxed packages containing eighteen (18) pieces of Wolverine Packing Co. Complete Protein Solutions Smoked Turkey Drumsticks with lot code 20144.
  • 20- to 24-ounce plastic-lined, boxed packages containing twenty (20) pieces of Wolverine Packing Co. Complete Protein Solutions Smoked Turkey Drumsticks with lot code 20148.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Smoked Turkey Drumsticks can be found on the Web site above.

According to the USDA, the products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-21309” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to an institutional location in Michigan and were further distributed nationwide.

The problem was discovered by FSIS Inspection Program Personnel while performing routine label verification checks.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Turkey Drumsticks and could be allergic to their ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
