The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Milk Chocolate Raisins are subject to recall:

  • Whitworths Milk Chocolate Raisins, sold in 150 gram plastic bags with a best-before date of July 2018, a batch/lot code of L519517 and a UPC/EAN/barcode of 5000234051293

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, this recall was ordered after it was found the recalled product contains Peanuts, an ingredient not declared on the product label. Undeclared Peanuts make this food product a possible health and safety risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Peanuts.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these any of the recalled Milk Chocolate Raisins and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
