Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Glitter Phone Cases are subject to this recall:

  • Victoria’s Secret branded Mobile Phone Cases containing Glitter floating in liquid Turpentine, sold in various designs and glitter colours.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Phone Cases contains White Spirit (also known as Turpentine). If the plastic Phone Case is cracked or broken, the fluid contained in the case can leak out. In some individuals, contact with the fluid from the Phone Case may cause skin irritation (redness, soreness and rashes). Prolonged exposure can cause chemical burns.

In addition, since White Spirit (also known as Turpentine is flammable, there is a possibility of fire, explosion or burns if the liquid or its fumes is exposed to a spark or open flame.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Glitter Phone Cases, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the Victoria’s Secret store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If the phone case fluid gets onto your skin, immediately wash with warm soapy water. If you experience skin irritation from the fluid, seek medical attention.

Please note: disposal of this product must be in accordance with local municipal hazardous waste requirements to protect your local drinking water supply and the ecosystem.
