The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Pork Sausage are subject to this recall:

  • 25-pound institutional packages of Chinese Brand Big Sausage with the following batch/lot codes and packaged-on dates of:

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Pork products can be found on the Web site above.

According to the USDA, the Pork products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. M/P-40200” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were distributed for institutional use and for retail sale in New Jersey and New York.

US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) was notified of the problem by the establishment on September 15, 2017, after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) tested the exported product and discovered milk proteins were present. CIFA tested the product on Aug. 17, 2017. Further investigation by the establishment concluded that they failed to include milk on the label.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Pork products and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
