Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Chocolate Bars are subject to this recall:

  • Treat Dreams branded Chocolate Bar (Caramel), sold in 100 gram bars wrapped with foil and paper with a best-before date of 30 November 2017
  • Treat Dreams branded Chocolate Bar (Peanut Butter and Jam), sold in 100 gram bars wrapped with foil and paper with a best-before date of 30 November 2017

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, this recall is due to suspected incorrect labels being applied to each Chocolate Bar, resulting in the presence of undeclared Peanut and Wheat allergens. If you have an allergy or intolerance to Peanut and/or Wheat, you should not consume any of the recalled Chocolate Bars.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Chocolate Bars and could be allergic to their Peanut and/or Wheat ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
