The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves all 2012 through 2017 model Kawasaki Brute Force 300 ATVs.

  • Kawasaki Brute Force All-Terrain Vehicles, manufactured and/or sold by Kawasaki through its dealers nationwide from November 2011 through June 2017 for about US $4,300.

Each of recalled Brute Force 300 ATVs has seating for one (1) person and was sold in red, black, white or green color schemes. The brand, “Brute Force” is printed on the right and left front fenders while the vehicle identification number (“VIN”) is located under the bumper. ==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the fuel tap and/or carburetor can leak, posing a fire hazard. Kawasaki has received 260 reports of fuel leaking from the fuel tap or carburetor. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Kawasaki ATVs, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Kawasaki for a free repair.
