Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Novelty Necklaces are subject to this recall:

  • Flashing 7 News Necklaces, consisting of a five (5) cm red circular pendant with “7 News” printed on the front.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Necklace’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the back of the Flashing Necklace is faulty and may be torn away from the housing exposing the button batteries. If young children gain access to the button batteries and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries which can result in serious injury or death. In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Novelty Necklaces, please do not wear them or store them near children. Instead, kindly return the product to Everything Glows, Reply Paid 91220, 37/148 Chesterville Road Moorabbin Victoria 3189.

==> Small “button” batteries pose special ingestion risks to small children. Devices using them in the home or school should be closely examined and monitored for any breakage or other unintended access that could allow these batteries to be swallowed or otherwise ingested.
