The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain batch/lots Wave Zone one-piece, zip-back Swimsuits for newborns, infants and toddlers.

Each of the recalled Swimsuits has a zipper on the back and four snaps on the bottom and were sold in four (4) colors: blue and gray with a shark on the front; white and navy stripes with an anchor pattern; pink and teal with a strawberry on the front; pink arms with a multi-colored fish pattern.

The Swimsuits were sold in sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months. The brand, “Wave Zone” and the place of origin listed as “Made in China” are both printed on the inner collar. The tracking number located on the sewn-in label on the inner side seam is “NOV 2016 021-14328”.

According to the CPSC, the snaps on the Swimsuits can detach, posing a choking hazard to the child.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Wave Zone Children’s Swimsuits, please do not use them nor dress your child in them. Instead, kindly return them to the customer service desk at any Meijer Store for a full refund.
