Canada/Ottawa: Logo - Trinity Bake ShopTrinity Bakeshop Ltd. recalls certain batch/lots of Trinity Bakeshop branded Baked Goods due to undeclared Barley, Milk, Sulphites and Wheat, all known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Cheesecake Brownies are subject to this recall:

  • Trinity Bakeshop branded Apricot Raisin Loaf, sold in 720 gram loaves; recalled batch/lots: all lot codes where Wheat and Sulphites are not declared on the label and a UPC of 0 817251 001263
  • Trinity Bakeshop branded Eatmore Squares, sold in 384 gram packages; recalled batch/lots: all lot codes where Barley is not declared on the label and a UPC of 0 817251 000501
  • Trinity Bakeshop branded Homestyle White Sliced Bread, sold in 530 gram packages; recalled batch/lots: all lot codes where Wheat and Milk are not declared on the label and a UPC of 0 817251 002000
  • Trinity Bakeshop branded Raisin Tea Buns, sold in 400 gram packages; recalled batch/lots:all lot codes where Wheat and Milk are not declared on the label and a UPC of 0 817251 000075
  • Trinity Bakeshop branded Sliced Molasses Raisin Bread, sold in 450 gram loaves; recalled batch/lots: all lot codes where Milk and Wheat are not declared on the label and a UPC of 0 817251 002703
  • Trinity Bakeshop branded Sweet Maria Bars, sold in 312 gram packages; recalled batch/lots: all lot codes where Milk and Barley are not declared on the label and a UPC of 0 817251 001362

According to the CFIA, Trinity Bakeshop has recalled certain batch/lots of Trinity Bakeshop branded Baked Goods due to undeclared Wheat. You should not consume or serve the Baked Goods identified above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Trinity Bakeshop brand Baked Goods and could be allergic to their Barley, Milk, Sulphite, Wheat ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
