Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves 2013-2017 KFX50 and 2012-2017 KFX90 Kawasaki All-Terrain Vehicles (“ATVs”).

Each of the recalled ATVs have four (4) wheels and seating for one (1) person and were sold in a variety of colors. The model name is printed on the right and left front fender. The vehicle identification number (“VIN”) is located on the front of the steel frame behind the bumper, as follows:

  • KFX50 model Kawasaki All Terrain Vehicles, model year 2013 with serial numbers ranging from RGSWA04A8DB100101 to RGSWA04A3DB800110
  • KFX50 model Kawasaki All Terrain Vehicles, model year 2014 with serial numbers ranging from RGSWA04A6EB100101 to RGSWA04A1EB800110
  • KFX50 model Kawasaki All Terrain Vehicles, model year 2015 with serial numbers ranging from RGSWA04A4FB100101 to RGSWA04A3FBA00106
  • KFX50 model Kawasaki All Terrain Vehicles, model year 2016 with serial numbers ranging from RGSWA04A2GB100101 to RGSWA04A6GBA00120
  • KFX50 model Kawasaki All Terrain Vehicles, model year 2017 with serial numbers ranging from RGSWA04A0HB100101 to RGSWA04AXHB800112

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the fuel tap can leak, posing a fire hazard. Kawasaki has received 18 reports of fuel leakage from the fuel tap. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Kawasaki ATVs, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Kawasaki for a free repair.
