Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Toy Pigs are subject to this recall:

  • Squeaking Toy Pigs, consisting of 21 centimetre “Squeaking Pig” toys available in various solid colours

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the toys’ packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Squeaking Toy Pigs do not comply with Australia’s permanent ban on children’s products containing more than 1% Diethylhexyl Phthalate (“DEHP”). The chemical DEHP is a commonly used plasticiser that is used to make and keep plastic compounds such as polyvinyl chloride (“PVC”) soft and flexible.

If this defect occurs, it poses a risk of reproductive impairment and/or toxicity for young children if they extensively chew or suck on objects with unsafe levels of DEHP.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Squeaking Toy Pigs, please do not use them nor let your children play with or near them. Instead, kindly return the Toy Pigs to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
