According to the FDA, this recall was initiated after it was discovered by Dierbergs’ personnel during an internal audit that Fish, Lobster, Crab and Shrimp in the Scampi Butter, and Soy and Wheat in the Cabernet Grille Butter were distributed in packages that did not respectively reveal the presence of these allergens. Subsequent investigation found the omissions were the result of ingredient changes in the products.
