Additional information:
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Raspberries are subject to this recall:

  • Crumble Raspberries IQF sold in ten (10) kilogram bags; affected batch/lots: all lot codes containing “HB” in the product code and sold from July 24, 2016 to July 29, 2017, inclusively.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CFIA, it has recalled certain batch/lots of Crumble Raspberries IQF from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Norovirus contamination. You should not consume and retailers, hotels, restaurants and institutions should not sell, or serve the recalled products identified above.

Retailers, hotels, restaurants and institutions are advised to check the labels of all Crumble Raspberries IQF in their kitchens or check with the respective supplier to determine if you have the affected product.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Crumble Raspberries IQF please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
