Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves Nestlé Waters AccuPure Floor Standing Filtration Dispensers with model number HB215-3G (black color) and model number HW215-3G (white color).

  • Each of the recalled Nestlé Waters AccuPure Floor Standing Filtration Dispensers measures approximately 44.6 inches tall by approximately 12.5 inches wide. The Filtration Dispensers connect directly to the plumbing system at the customer location, draw and filter water from the local system, and then dispense the filtered water through the unit. The upper front panels of the units have an “AccuPure” logo and an illuminated clock display. The model number can be found on a white sticker on the back of the dispenser.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the recalled Filtration Dispensers can overheat and smoke, therefore posing fire, burn and property damage hazards. Nestlé Waters has received fifteen (15) reports of overheating, including seven reports of units emitting smoke or catching fire. By the date of this release, no injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Floor Standing Filtration Dispensers, please do not use them. Instead, kindly unplug the Dispensers and stop using them. Nestlé Waters is contacting owners directly to schedule installation of a replacement unit. Consumers with questions should contact Nestlé Waters at the coordinates below.
