The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Pork Wieners are subject to this recall:

  • Maple Leaf Natural Selections brand Original Wieners, sold in 375 gram plastic pouches with batch/lot product codes ranging from 2017JN15 to 2017AU24 and a UPC of 0 63100 10990 5

According to the CFIA, Maple Leaf Foods Inc. has recalled the above-identified batch/lots of Maple Leaf Natural Selections brand Original Wieners due to suspected risk of Spoilage. You should not consume or serve the products listed in this recall.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Pork Wieners, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
