The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain model year 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570 All-Terrain Vehicles (“ATVs”), as follows:

The recalled ATVs were sold in several colors with the brand, “Polaris” printed on the front grill and brand “Sportsman 57”  printed on the side panel.

  • 2014 model year Sportsman 570 EFI ATVs, Sage Green with a model designation of A14MH57AA
  • 2014 model year Sportsman 570 EFI ATVs, Indy Red with a model designation of A14MH57AD
  • 2014 model year Sportsman 570 EFI ATVs, Polaris Pursuit Camo with a model designation of A14MH57AC
  • 2014 model year Sportsman 570 EFI ATVs, Sage Green with a model designation of A14MH5EAA
  • 2014 model year Sportsman 570 EFI ATVs, Bright White with a model designation of A14MH5EAJ
  • 2014 model year Sportsman Touring 570 EFI ATVs, Sage Green with a model designation of A14DH57AA
  • 2014 model year Sportsman Touring 570 EFI ATVs, Bright White with a model designation of A14DH57AJ
  • 2014 model year Sportsman Touring 570 EPS ATVs Pursuit Camo with a model designation of A14MH5EAC

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, fuel can leak into the headlight pod, posing fuel leak and fire hazards. Polaris has received thirty (30) reports of fuel leaks and four (4) incidents involving a fire. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled All-Terrain Vehicles, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Polaris to schedule a free repair. Polaris is also contacting all registered purchasers directly.
