Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Toys are subject to this recall:

  • Fidget Spinner Toys with LED lights, featured on Groupon.com.au from May to June 2017 inclusive

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the toy’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Spinner Toys are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Spinner Toys do not have secured battery compartments. If young children gain access to the button batteries (small, thin batteries that resemble clothing buttons) inside the Toy and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious illness and even death. In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.

In general, if plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, damage teeth, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

==> Small “button” batteries pose special ingestion risks to small children. Devices using them in the home or school should be closely examined and monitored for any breakage or other unintended access that could allow these batteries to be swallowed or otherwise ingested.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Spinner Toys, please do not use them or let your child play with them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
