Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Gluten Free Brownies are subject to this recall:

  • Coborn’s Gluten Free Fudge Brownies, sold from July 4, 2017 to July 6, 2017 with an expiration date of July 10, 2017 and a UPC of 7-33147-20522-8.

According to the FDA, this recall was initiated after it was discovered that packages sold as Gluten Free Gluten Free Brownies actually contain Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Bars, a product that contains Milk.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Bars, and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
