The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Salted Radish products are subject to recall:

  • Fisherman Salted Radish, sold in clear cello bags with a net weight of 400 grams, a best-before date of 15 June 2018 and a batch/lot reference code of 1509163

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Hoo Hing Limited recalls certain batch/lots of Fisherman Salted Radish due to undeclared Sulphur Dioxide and/or Sulphites. You should not consume the food product identified above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these packages of recalled Salted Radish and could be allergic to their Sulphur Dioxide and/or Sulphites ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
