The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Duck, Fat and Tallow products are subject to this recall:

A total of twenty three (23) Duck Fat, Lard and Tallow products are subject to this recall and were produced, packaged and sold from June 1, 2016 through May 8, 2017. A complete list can be found here:


Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Duck Fat, Pork Lard and Beef Tallow can be found on the Web site above.

According to the USDA, the products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 34595” or “P-34595” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were sold through the Web and shipped to retail locations US nationwide and possibly into other countries.

The problem was discovered after the firm received a consumer complaint of a loose lid from an internet customer.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Duck Fat, Pork Lard and Beef Tallow, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store, distributor or outlet where you purchased it for a full refund.
