Additional information:
The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following children’s drinks are subject to recall:

  • Alpro Growing Up Drink (1-3+yrs 1 litre UHT pack), sold in one (1) Litre boxes with a best- before date of 05 March 2018 and a batch/lot code starting with AB2310 XX:XX

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FSA, the sterility of the listed batch/lots has been compromised. As a result the microbiological safety of these batches has also been compromised and this poses a risk to health, if the affected product is consumed. The affected batches may have developed an unpleasant texture, taste and smell.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Alpro Growing Up Drink, please do not consume it directly, feed it to your child nor use it as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
