The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following All Purpose Flour is subject to this recall:

  • Lost Acre Variety brand All Purpose Flour, sold in variable sizes in clear plastic bags; affected batch/lots: all units sold from December 5, 2016 to February 25, 2017 with no UPC. Additional information: this product was distributed from Lost Acre Variety, 12 Covered Bridge Dr, West Montrose, ON

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CFIA, Lost Acre Variety has recalled certain batch/lots of Lost Acre Variety brand All Purpose Flour from the marketplace due to possible E. coli O121 contamination. You should not consume the recalled Flour identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Flour, please do not consume it directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
