Daiso Projectile Toy Recall [Australia]


Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Daiso Projectile Toy Recall [Australia]Daiso Industries (Australia) Pty Ltd recalls certain batch/lots of Sky Cyclone model and Tornado Fly model Projectile Toys due to suspected failure to comply with Australia’s Consumer Protection Notice No. 16 of 2010. Specifically, the recalled Projectile Toys do not have a perimeter ring on the propeller to provide injury protection.

In addition, the product packaging is not labelled with the appropriate safety warning, potentially increasing the chances of eye and/or facial injuries, all serious health and safety hazards. ACCC: http://ht.ly/p2Nm30cSNTf

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Makeup Products are subject to this recall:

  • Sky Cyclone Projectile Toys
  • Tornado Fly Projectile Toys

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, this recall was initiated due to the Toys’ suspected failure to comply with Australia’s Consumer Protection Notice No. 16 of 2010. Specifically, the recalled Projectile Toys do not have a perimeter ring on the propeller to provide injury protection, increasing the chances of eye and/or facial injuries.
