The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Beef Ravioli products are subject to this recall:

  • Best Yet branded Beef Ravioli, sold in 24-ounce bags with a batch/lot code of 7065 and a sell-by date of 3/6/18.
  • Big Y Square branded Beef Ravioli, sold in 30-ounce bags with a batch/lot code of 7009 and 7130 and sell-by dates of 1/9/18 and 5/10/2018.
  • Lowes Foods branded Beef Ravioli Square Shaped, sold in 25-ounce bags with a batch/lot code of 7040 and a sell-by date of 2/9/2018.
  • Sev branded Mini Hex Beef Ravioli Par-Cooked, sold in 20-pound bulk bags with batch/lot codes 7034, 7065 and 7100 and package codes of 7034, 7065, and 7100
  • Seviroli branded Beef Ravioli, sold in 13-ounce bags with batch/lot codes 7041, 7042, 7107, 7109, 7118, 7130 and 7079, and sell-by dates of 2/10/18, 2/11/18, 4/17/18, 4/19/18, 4/28/17, 5/10/18 and 3/20/18.
  • V’s branded Pre-Cooked Square Beef Ravioli, sold in 20-oz bags with batch/lot codes 7034, 7040, 7065 and 7100 and sell-by dates of 2/3/18, 2/9/18, 3/6/18 and 4/10/18.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Beef Ravioli products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 5342” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to distribution locations in Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio and Rhode Island.

The problem was discovered on June 6, 2017, when the company received notification from a primary ingredient supplier that the cracker meal the company received and used in the recalled products potentially contained undeclared Milk.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Beef Ravioli products and could be allergic to their ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
