Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken products are subject to this recall:

  • The recalled ready-to-eat (“RTE”) Chicken Salads with White Meat Chicken was produced on various dates from May 17 through May 26, 2017. The following products are subject to recall:
    • Five (5)-pound plastic tubs of Main Street brand Chicken Salad with White Meat Chicken with use-by dates of 6 10, 6 11, 6 12, 6 13, 6 14, 6 15, 6 16, 6 17, 6 18 and 6 19.
    • Five (5)-pound plastic tubs of Packer Avenue Foods Chicken Salad with White Meat Chicken with use-by dates of 6 10, 6 11, 6 12, 6 13, 6 14, 6 15, 6 16, 6 17, 6 18 and 6 19..

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Chicken products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-19977” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to wholesale locations Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

The problem was discovered on June 6, 2017, when the company received notification from a primary ingredient supplier that the cracker meal the company received and used in the recalled products potentially contained undeclared Milk.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Chicken products and could be allergic to their ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Chicken products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
