The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Assorted Flotation Rings are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):

  • Angry Bird – barcode: 4307000010500
  • Baby Doll Blue – Baby doll large, baby doll small, baby doll small with red boots
  • Baby Doll Brown – Baby doll small with red boots
  • Baby Doll Extra Large with Hair – Baby doll with curly hair
  • Baby Doll Pink – Baby doll large, baby doll small, baby doll small with red boots, baby doll small with white boots
  • Baby Doll Yellow – Baby doll small with red boots
  • Puppy Dog (assorted colours) – small puppy dog pull toy
  • Thomas & Friends Train – No. 98-1

According to the ACCC, the Children’s Toys contain small “button” batteries that can become accessible to the child through normal use. These Toys, therefore, do not comply with Australia’s Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003, as amended by Consumer Protection No. 1 of 2005

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Assorted Children’s Toys please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If a child swallows more than one magnet, the magnets can stick together across the walls of the child’s intestine or other digestive tissue, which can lead to internal injuries and even death. These magnets may need emergency surgical intervention to remove.
