Among the 35 recalls the European Union has announced in its third report of June 2017, the following notification was made:

Regio Játék Puzzle Mat Recall [EU]Regio Játék, Sun Ta Toys Foam Puzzle Mat for Children. The recalled Puzzle Mats are comprised of pieces of foam material that are multi-colored, interlocking and can form six-part puzzles featuring kid-friendly shapes such as a bicycle, a sailboat, a truck or a blimp.

The recalled Play Mats were sold in two (2) styles: the first has a product number of 1017 and a UPC/barcode of 5 996055 477117 while the second has a product number of 1008 and a UPC/barcode of 5 996055 493360.

The type of hazard presented by these Puzzle Mat include small component pieces that can easily be detached from the larger Puzzle Mat and put in the mouth by small children, causing them to choke or ingest the material.

Because of this defect, the recalled Puzzle Mats do not comply with the requirements of the EU’s Toy Safety Directive and with the relevant European standard, EN 71-1. As such, therefore, the Mats have been ordered recalled from end users and withdrawn from the European marketplace.

==> Do not let your children play with or near these Puzzle Mats. Instead, return the Mats to the store from which you purchased them for a full refund.
