The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken Tenders and Breaded Dark Meat Chicken Products are subject to this recall:

  • Ten (10)-pound packages of Chicken Tenders Sea Salt and Ground Pepper, sold with batch/lot codes of 0971114002 and 0971441101
  • Twelve (12)-pound packages containing four (4), three (3)-pound bags of Chicken Tenders Sea Salt and Ground Pepper sold with batch/lot codes of 0970451101, 097801101 and 0971111101
  • Nine (9)-pound packages containing 36 pieces of Premium Entrée Traditional Sage Raw Breaded Dark Meat Chicken with Homestyle Stuffing with a batch/lot code of 0971401101

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Chicken subject to recall bears establishment number “P-276” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to food service locations in California, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.

The problem was discovered on June 6, 2017, when Advance Pierre Foods Chicken Recall [US]Advance Pierre Foods received a notification from a primary ingredient supplier that the bread crumbs the company received and used in the recalled Chicken products potentially contained undeclared Milk.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Chicken Products and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
