The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Raw Sausages are subject to this recall:

  • 10-pound boxes of Peter’s Wholesale Meat Corp. British Style Bangers with batch/lot code 03143
  • 5-pound boxes of Pork King Irish Style Bangers with batch/lot codes 2153, 2146, 2139, 3138, 3103, 1076, 2076, 1069, 2069,3067, 1062, 2062, 3061, 1055, 2055, 1047, 2047 and 3047

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Raw Sausages can be found on the Web site above.

According to the USDA, the products subject to recall bear establishment number “Est. 4396” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to wholesale and institutional locations in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Virginia.

The problem was discovered on June 6, 2017, when the company received notification from an primary ingredient supplier that the bread crumbs the company received and used in the recalled Sausages potentially contained undeclared Milk.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Raw Sausages and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
