The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Bouillon Powder arise subject to recall:

  • Knorr Chicken Powder Bouillon, sold in 900 gram tins; affected batch codes: all batch codes; best before-end date: all date codes.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FSA, this recall was initiated due to the presence of Milk. This makes it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Milk or Milk Constituents.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Chicken Bouillon Powder and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
