The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Table Top Cookers are subject to this recall:

  • Sunbeam Sous Chef Stir Multi Cooker, model MU3000. The recalled kitchen appliance has multiple modes of cooking, including rice steamer and slow cooker modes.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Cookers can be found on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, if the product is used in “slow cooker mode” (on either the high or low settings), the Cookers may not reach and maintain a temperature during the allotted cook time that is sufficient to fully cook the food. Consumers could be exposed to undercooked, or not properly cooked, meats.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Cookers, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
