The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Baked Goods are subject to this recall:

  • Bakehouse Bread Cranberry Orange Bread, sold in 16 ounce shrink-wrapped loaves with a sell-by date code of June 07 2017 and a UPC of 864934 00004

According to the FDA, Fry’s Food Stores has recalled certain batch/lots of Bakehouse Bread Cranberry Orange Bread sold in its retail stores because it contains undeclared pecans and tree nuts.

This recall was initiated after one (1) customer reported an allergic reaction.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Baked Goods and could be allergic to their Nut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
