Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Cosmetic Drugs are subject to this recall:

  • Stromaderm Age-Defying Serum sold in 30 mL bottles with an item number of 400600, a batch/lot identifier of 3785 and an expiry date code of 05/2018
  • Stromaderm Age-Defying Serum sold in 30 mL bottles with an item number of 400600, a batch/lot identifier of 3925 and an expiry date code of 05/2018

==> No barcodes, UPCs, DINs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to Health Canada, the recalled product is contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This product poses a risk of causing infections in people with compromised or weakened immune systems.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Stromaderm Serum, please do not use it. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm cosmetic or drug contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any cosmetic drug, return it to your retailer for refund or return it to the vendor for proper, safe and legal disposal, making sure small children and can’t pets access the suspect Stromaderm Serum.
