The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Toddler Beds are subject to this recall:

  • Always Direct 3-in-1 Wooden Baby Cot Crib Toddler Bed, made of pine wood, painted white and sold with an accompanying mattress, a SKU of “Baby Crib” and a PI number of MAC18042014516

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Toddler Beds does not comply with the Australian mandatory safety standard. Specifically, these Cot Beds fail various design, performance, informative labelling and marking requirements. The Cot Beds, therefore, pose numerous potential risks to infants and children including entrapment, choking and fall hazards.
