Additional information:
The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Cheese and Bacon Burgers are subject to recall:

  • Musgrave Gourmet Cheese & Bacon Burgers, sold in packages of four (4) burgers each weighing approximately 155 grams for a total package weight of approximately 620 grams. All current use-by dates are affected by this recall notification.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Musgrave Retail Partners NI has recalled all current batch/lots of its Gourmet Cheese & Bacon Burgers because they contain Soya, an ingredient not listed on the label. This means the Burgers are a health risk for anyone with an allergy to Soya.

Please note: Musgrave reports the distribution of the recalled Burgers is thought to be limited to Centra and Supervalu stores within Northern Ireland.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Burgers and could be allergic to their Soya ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
