The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Beef and Pork Bone Broth Products are subject to this recall:

  • The Osso Good Co. branded Beef Bone Broth, Grass Fed, Pasture Raised, Non GMO, Hormone Free, sold in 20-fluid ounce, individual plastic pouches.
  • The Osso Good Co branded Spicy Pork Bone Broth Pastured Pork Bone Broth with a Touch of Heat, sold in 20-fluid ounce, individual plastic pouches.
  • The Osso Good Co branded Simply Beef Broth, AIP Compliant Bone Broth, Grass Fed, Pasture Raised, Non GMO, Hormone Free, sold in 20-fluid ounce, individual plastic pouches.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Beef and Pork Bone Broth subject to recall do not bear the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, New York and Washington.

The problem was discovered when an US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) Office of Investigations, Enforcement and Audit (“OIEA”) officer initiated an inquiry in response to a consumer complaint regarding The Osso Good Co. Bone Broth Products.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Beef and Pork Bone Broth, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
