Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Turkey and Ham Sandwiches are subject to this recall:

  • Kabobs Monte Cristo Turkey Breast, Ham and Cheese Sandwiches, sold in 13.125-pound bulk cases containing 200 Sandwich units packed in shrink wrapped plastic trays and bearing the following case codes: PM14E27, PM14H14, PM14J10, PM14E01, PM14E12, PM14E13, PM15C26, PM15E06, PM15G23, PM14L18, PM15A08, PM15C26, PM15K20, PM16B08, PM16B09, PM16F22, PM16F24 and PM17B21.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Sandwiches subject to recall bear establishment number “P-6640” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to institutional locations in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas.

The problem was discovered when Kabob’s Acquisition was notified by its French Toast ingredient supplier, that the French Toast used in the Sandwich products had been recalled due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Turkey and Ham Sandwiches, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
