Among the 19 recalls the European Union has announced in this second report of May 2017, the following notification was made:

dm Balea Creme Seife Buttermilk & Lemon Liquid Soap Cream Recall [EU]dm Balea Creme Seife Buttermilk & Lemon Liquid Soap Cream; sold with an unknown type/number and batch/lot numbers of 637541 and 637542 with MDD: 06.2019.

The type of hazards presented with this Soap Cream include microbiological infectious agents in excess of the European allowable limits: specifically, the amount of Enterobacter gergoviae in this Soap Cream is too high (measured value up to 2 x 10⁶ cfu/g). This could cause localised skin reaction and eye infection, particularly in people with a weakened immune system.

Because of this defect, the Soap Cream does not comply with European Cosmetic Products Regulations. As such, these batch/lots of dm Balea Creme Seife Buttermilk & Lemon Liquid Soap Cream have been ordered recalled from end users and withdrawn from the European marketplace.
