According to the FDA, the Ice Cream Slices were distributed US nationwide through retail stores. The recall was initiated after receiving one (1) consumer complaint, in which it appears some Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla Peanut Butter Cups Pint Slices were distributed in packaging that indicated the contents were, in fact, Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie Pint Slices. Due to this packaging error, the presence of Peanuts was not indicated.
