Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Quiches are subject to this recall:

  • Schneiders branded Lorraine Ham & Cheese Quiche, sold frozen in 24-ounce individually-packaged plastic clam-shell containers with a package code 62000 8096 9 on the individual retail containers.
  • H.E.B. branded Chef Prepared Foods Ham & Cheese Quiche, sold frozen in 24-ounce individually-packaged plastic clam-shell containers of with package code 41220 63400 9 on the individual retail containers.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Quiches subject to recall do not bear the required USDA federal mark of inspection, but instead bear the establishment number “Canada 277”. The Quiches were shipped to distribution centers in Indiana and Oklahoma for further distribution to retail stores nationwide.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions or illnesses due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Quiches, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
