Lorelli Kangaroo Baby Carrier Recall [EU]Among the 40 recalls the European Union has announced in this fourth and final report of April 2017, the following notification was made:

Lorelli Kangaroo Baby Carriers, front-mounted baby carriers sold in a variety of colors with an unknown model designation, a lot number of 10010011343, a manufactured-in-year date of 2013 and a barcode of 3800151915720.

The type of hazards for this product include falls and consequential impact injuries due to the recalled Baby Carriers’ leg openings being apparently too large and possibly allowing a child to slip through one or the other leg openings and out of the device entirely.

This child carrier product, therefore, does not comply with the requirements of European standard EN 13209-2, and consequently, has been ordered recalled from end users and withdrawn from the marketplace.
