Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken Breast Products are subject to this recall:

  • Chef’s Line All Natural Fire Grilled Chicken Breasts, sold in 9-pound foodservice cases containing eight (8) poly film packages with a product code of 22586, a production date of 04/07/17 and a best-by date of 06/14/17.
  • Saladworks Fully Cooked Flame Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets, sold in 9-pound foodservice cases containing eight (8) poly film packages with a product code of 22500, a production date of 03/29/17 and a best-by date of 06/05/17.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, the Chicken Products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-45411” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to a distribution center in Illinois and further distributed to hotel, restaurant and institution locations US nationwide.

The problem was discovered when the firm received multiple customer complaints that these Ready-To-Eat (“RTE”) Chicken Products appeared to be undercooked.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Chicken, please do not consume it directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
