Additional information:

Among the 44 recalls the European Union has announced in this third report of April 2017, the following notification was made:

Roba brand Leo style Baby Cots (Cribs)Logo - Roba; sold with a type/number model designation of 6291SKN740462 and a SKU/barcode/EAN/UPC of 4005317233963.

The type of hazards presented with this Baby Crib include Child Entrapment and Strangulation: specifically, the gaps between the Cot’s bars are too large. This defect cold allow a crawling child to try to pass his legs or torso between the bars, leaving the head blocked. In turn, this could cause respiratory difficulties and/or strangulation. In addition, the Cot’s safety gate has holes where children’s fingers could be trapped leading to laceration and additional serious injuries.

Because of these defects, the product does not comply with the European regulation EN 716. As such, these Roba brand Leo style Baby Cots have been ordered recalled from end users and withdrawn from the European marketplace.
