Australia/Canberra: BJ & VS Brewster, trading as King Island Fresh Milk Products, recalls certain batch/lots of King Island Fresh Milk Products Reduced Fat Milk and King Island Fresh Milk Products Cream due to suspected Escherichia coli (“E.coli”) contamination and consequential bacterial infection, a serious health hazard. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Milk Products are subject to this recall:
- King Island Fresh Milk Products Reduced Fat Milk, sold in 1L and 2L plastic bottles
- King Island Fresh Milk Products Cream, sold in 300 mL and 600 mL plastic bottles
==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs, or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, this Fetta Cheese was recalled due to suspected microbial contamination, specifically E. coli.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Fetta Cheese, please do not consume it directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
