Canada/Ottawa: Yoso brand Soygo Soy Products Recall [Canada]Flamaglo Foods Ltd. recalls certain batch/lots of Yoso brand Soygo Fermented Cultured Soy Products due to suspected risk of Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential bacterial infection, a serious health hazard. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Soy Products are subject to this recall:

  • Yoso brand Soygo Fermented Cultured Soy – Plain, sold in 440 gram tubs, with a product code of 17 MA 19 d5 and a UPC of 8 34914 00231 3
  • Yoso brand Soygo Fermented Cultured Soy – Raspberry sold in 440 gram tubs, with a product code of 17 MA 19 d5 and a UPC of 8 34914 00235 1
  • Yoso brand Soygo Fermented Cultured Soy – Vanilla sold in 440 gram tubs, with a product code of 17 MA 19 d5 and a UPC of 8 34914 00234 4
  • Yoso brand Soygo Fermented Cultured Soy – Blueberry sold in 440 gram tubs, with a product code of 17 MA 19 d5 and a UPC of 8 34914 00232 0

According to the CFIA, Flamaglo Foods Ltd. has recalled certain batch/lots of Yoso brand Soygo Fermented Cultured Soy Products from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. You should not consume the recalled products listed above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Soy Products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
