The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Yogurt and Granola Parfaits are subject to this recall:

  • Organic Vanilla Yogurt Strawberries and Granola Parfaits sold with a PLU number of 25826 with a sell-by date between April 2, 2017 and April 11, 2017.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FDA, the Whole Foods Market store in Dedham, Massachusetts has recalled certain single-serve Organic Vanilla Yogurt Parfait Cups with Strawberries and Granola, because the Granola contained Almond Nuts, an ingredient not declared on the product label.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Parfaits and could be allergic to their Almond Nut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
