Canada/Ottawa: Smucker Foods of Canada Corp. expands its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Robin Hood brand All Purpose Flour due to suspected E. coli contamination and consequential risk of bacterial infection, a serious health hazard. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Baking Flour is subject to this recall:
- Robin Hood brand All Purpose Flour, Original Variety, sold in ten (10) kilogram yellow paper sacks with batch/lot codes containing BB/MA 2018 AL 17 and 6 291 548 with a UPC of 0 59000 01652 8

According to the CFIA, Smucker Foods of Canada Corp. has recalled certain batch/lots of Robin Hood brand All Purpose Flour, Original Variety from the marketplace due to suspected E. coli O121 contamination. You should not consume the recalled product identified above.
This update includes additional distribution information identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s (“CFIA”) follow-up safety investigations.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Baking Flour, please do not consume it directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
